Audition for the Chorus!
We are holding winter auditions for both professional singers (paid positions) and volunteer singers. We are especially looking for tenors, basses, and first sopranos.
Audition Dates (by appointment only):
- January 12, 2026 — 6:30–8:30pm
- January 31, 2026 — 2:00–4:00pm

Audition Requirements:
We encourage singers who:
- Read music
- Have choral experience
- Exhibit strong vocal accuracy, tone quality, blend, and range
- Have good sight-reading skills (a definite plus!)
- Are 18 years or older
Please note: If you cannot read music, you will not qualify.
2026 Spring Schedule:
Attendance is required for:
- Dress rehearsals: May 12 & May 18
- Mandatory Saturday rehearsal: April 18
- Spring concerts: May 23 & 24
Professional Singers Needed (Paid Positions!):
We seek highly trained, degreed professional vocalists—especially tenors, basses, and first sopranos.
Paid singers must:
- Maintain excellent attendance
- Arrive fully prepared for all rehearsals and concerts
- Submit a resume when applying
A stipend is paid upon successful completion of the semester.

The Gettysburg Choral Society, Inc. is seeking extremely talented and trained professional singers (degrees in voice) to serve as paid singers, especially tenors and basses. The positions require singers to be prompt in attendance and fully prepared at all rehearsals and concerts. There will be a stipend paid to the singer upon the successful completion of the semester’s work. Additional information may be obtained by calling or emailing us. Please provide your resume.
