🚨Paid Section Leaders Needed!

The Gettysburg Choral Society, Inc. is seeking highly motivated and extremely talented singers to serve as section leaders.  The positions require singers to be prompt in attendance and fully prepared at all rehearsals and concerts.  There will be a stipend paid to the section leader upon the successful completion of the semester’s work.

Rehearsals begin on Monday evening, March 3rd, 2025 and continue each Monday through May 19th.   Concerts are currently scheduled for May 23rd and 25th.  There is also a brief performance commitment on the evening of Memorial Day (May 26th)--the 100 Nights of Taps Opening Ceremony in Gettysburg.  

Rehearsals are held in Gettysburg each Monday evening from 7:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M.

Now Seeking All Voice Parts!

The Gettysburg Choral Society, Inc. is now actively seeking new singers for the 2025 spring season.  Auditions are being held by appointment only on :

Monday, January 13th (6:00-8:00 P.M.) 

Saturday, January 25th (2:00-4:00 P.M.).  

The chorus seeks to utilize the finest choral techniques in an effort to continually improve the quality of performances.  As such, persons who read music and have choral experience are encouraged to audition.  Vocal accuracy, tone quality, blending ability, diction, and vocal range will be tested during the simple audition.  Good sight reading is a definite plus.  All persons auditioning must be at least 18 years of age and bring a prepared piece to sing.

The spring rehearsal cycle begins on Monday, March 3rd, with concerts scheduled for May 23rd and 25th, and a brief evening performance at the 100 Nights of Taps Opening Ceremony in Gettysburg on May 26th.  Rehearsals take place in Gettysburg from 7:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. each Monday.
